More than 6 million Australian volunteers give happiness to others each year. And research says that that those volunteers are happier as a result. So

Celebrate Volunteer Week 2015

WHY SHOULD WE CELEBRATE VOLUNTEER CONTRIBUTION? Because everybody’s doing it. Amazingly 4 out of 5 Tasmanians in the last year (Volunteering Tasmania stats Feb 2014-2015) volunteered in some capacity. That’s a whopping 411000 people in Tasmania who did something to help someone else in the last year. Aren’t we awesome?
