A new ethical photo guide for Tassie

NRM South is proud to announce the launch of our ‘Ethical Guide to Nature Photography in Tasmania’ packed with great tips on how to be a savvy snapper! To celebrate this launch, Shutterbug Walkabouts Tasmania have generously offered 10 spots on a mini photowalk around Gould’s Lagoon in Hobart.

Now’s a great time to get out and enjoy Tasmania’s natural beauty. For many of us, photography is part of that celebration. From cryptic orchids, to lumbering wombats, or visiting migratory shorebirds – capturing nature through a lens is fun and rewarding. However, in our quest to snap that perfect pic, it’s important to respect our wildlife and natural spaces as we may be unknowingly doing harm.

If you’d like to be in with a chance to win a spot on an introduction to the fundamentals of nature photography photowalk at Gould’s Lagoon on Sunday 26 November, and a printed copy of the guide – it’s easy. Just take a couple of minutes to complete our fun online quiz (hint: check the online version of our guide for answers!)

We have a limited number of printed versions available also – get in touch with Nepelle on ncrane@nrmsouth.org.au if you’d like to reserve a copy.

Good luck and happy snapping!
