We are seeking a contractor to undertake hydrological and fluvial geomorphology assessments of project sites at Pitt Water-Orielton Lagoon to inform project delivery.
NRM South is working on a riparian restoration project in and around Frogmore Creek, Orielton Rivulet, Sorell Rivulet, and Orielton Lagoon. Focusing on public and private land, the project is addressing threats such as weeds, altered sediment transport, agricultural activities, stormwater pollution, urban development and climate change, in order to enhance riparian and wetland habitats, reconnect critical habitat corridors, and reduce nutrient and sediment runoff.
We are seeking a contractor to undertake hydrological and fluvial geomorphology assessments of project sites at Pitt Water-Orielton Lagoon to inform project delivery. The scope of work is to assess the hydrology and fluvial geomorphology of the designated project sites. This includes identifying potential impacts of willow removal and providing a report with recommendations and a risk management framework for monitoring and maintaining bank stability to minimize downstream impacts.
