Recently, Sophie Golding – NRM South’s senior project officer with our Biodiversity team – caught up with Rodney Rowe, a participant in our Forest on Farms program. The program has been designed to help production-focussed landholders improve and protect remnant stands of the critically endangered Black or Brookers gum ecological community on their property. Rodney manages a 76 acre block near Sorell where he runs a small herd of cattle. As part of this podcast Rodney chats with Sophie about his experiences with NRM South’s Forest on Farms scheme and why he thinks it has been beneficial.
