We are seeking a contractor to establish and deliver a monitoring program for NRM South’s Rivers to Ramsar project.
NRM South is working on a riparian restoration project in and around Frogmore Creek, Orielton Rivulet, Sorell Rivulet, and Orielton Lagoon. Focusing on public and private land, the project is addressing threats such as weeds, altered sediment transport, agricultural activities, stormwater pollution, urban development and climate change, in order to enhance riparian and wetland habitats, reconnect critical habitat corridors, and reduce nutrient and sediment runoff.
We are seeking a contractor to establish a three-year monitoring program to track the progress, impact, and effectiveness of project interventions and demonstrate achievement of project outcomes. The program will focus on habitat and biodiversity improvements, and enhanced waterway health—particularly in Orielton Rivulet, Frogmore Creek, Sorell Rivulet, and the Ramsar-listed Orielton Lagoon.
